Robin Martino hails from Chicago, Illinois. After catching the acting bug, she subsequently enjoyed parts in many brilliant, independent films. Soon, she landed a leading role in a play written by a young, aspiring writer, playing a recovering alcoholic mother of two daughters, and her attempt to reinstate their faith in her sobriety and love for them. She became captivated by the energy of a live audience. Fleeing the cold, she came to Miami to be closer to family and enjoy the growing industry down here, subsequently landing the role of Amanda in a production of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie.
More opportunities followed, both in film and live theater. In down times, Robin continues to focus on her training; graduating from the Hagen Process under the instruction of Marc Durso at ActTrue Studios; Improv with Gerald Owens; workshops with David Schaap, Lori Wyman and others.
Miami is a wonderful place to live and work and play. Robin is happy to enjoy the opportunities offered here in this tropical paradise.
